I have for sale DD2's entire stash of Lushies and Daysies. Some of them were bought new by me, some bought 2nd hand.

I am having a really hard time working out which of the Lushies were 2nd hand and which were new. They are all in great condition, apart from the fluff that I can't seem to stop from collecting on the outside. They have been used by me for a maximum of 2 months.

I have grouped the Daysies into bought new by me and bought 2nd hand. I can't remember what I paid for the 2nd hand ones, so will price them all the same.

Will leave them here for a week before listing them on FB.

I also have some Small Thirsties and Bummis covers that I have to give away for bulk purchases of 6 or more nappies.

Lushies $12 each plus post. Some may have some very light stains, but none will show up in photos.

Small Daysies $7 plus post. Bought 2nd hand. The 2 on the left are flannelette outers and the inners are made from a bamboo that isn't as nice as the others. The one on the right was left in a wetbag for a couple of days before I realised and the inner layer of bamboo has thinned and has some small holes. Elastics are still great though.

I loved these EOR. Yes, they are a fitted nappy.

I started off with prefolds and covers, and a few AIO type nappies for the first couple of weeks before I tried these. I don't know why I didn't try these from the very beginning. I loved these so much that I sold all of my other nappies and bought up big on these. Can't beat a fitted with a good fitting cover for containing NB wees and poos. Never had a leak using these and covers (I like Thirsties). Unfortunately DH & I make babies with big bums and bubs has already outgrown them and fitting into BBH fitteds.

If we were planning on another bub I would be keeping these. I absolutely love them.

I posted here about my experience with cloth on a newborn, if you'd like to have a read. There is a pic of DD2 wearing one of the Daysies when she was about 2 weeks old.

Oh hrm now I'm thinking I should try some of these! Have you posted the fatty cakes yet? What's actually the difference between a lushie and a daysie, other than the patterned vs plain outer?

Actually wait, I've got months before I'm due so I'm just going to stick with the fatty cakes for now and pace myself!

I really like the look of them. Think I should at least wait until I've had my first scan though - I will check back and try my luck at the end of the week ;)

Very interested in some of these... can i let you know which ones tonight? What the difference between a lushie and a daysie in terms of size and absorbency?

I have found that the Daysies have shrunk a bit, but the Lushies haven't. Must just be the different fabrics. Lushies are more absorbant than Daysies, but Daysies are prettier. I boosted the Daysies with an extra small booster.

Hey Paula,
Can I ask... did you prefer the daisies or lushies?
And how many could you fit in a 500gm bag?
Thanks x

Hmm, that's a tough one. I really like both. I started off with a couple of daysies and 6 lushies. Then I couldn't decide which ones I liked best, so I just got lots more of both. I then decided that lushies would be for night and long naps, and daysies for day time. I'll weigh them tomorrow (they are in DD1s room) but it will be either 2 or 3 depending on which. Daysies would be lighter than Lushies.

Hi Paula,
Would you do two $12 ones (black print and bright jungle animals) plus one $9 one (bright rainbow) for $35 posted?
Is that one actually black? What is the print on it?
Thanks x

Sorry amy484, been a busy day.

Yep, I can just fit 4 in a 500gm satchel. If you want another $12 lushie I can do them for $48 posted regular, or $45 posted for another $9 lushie.
