Afternoon ladies,

You may have noticed the site has been up and down a little of late.

That's for two reasons.

The first is that the site WILL be moving servers soon.

The second and probably more important as far as your concerned is that I'm trying to get a handle on exactly what resources the site will need.

The reason for the move is that the site will be moving to it's own server and undergoing some changes.

I haven't 100% made up my mind exactly what changes but it will be split off from my other servers so it will be using it's own self-contained resources.

Then, as long as the site is paying it's way (i.e not actually costing me anything), it can and will remain. Hence the need to get an idea of resource requirements.

There is an outside chance that I *MAY* migrate the forum to a different software if I think that's gonna give us more "bang for our buck" but obviously I'd rather avoid that if I can.

There *MAY* be a few cosmetic/branding changes, possibly some structural changes to the forums itself and there will definitely be changes to singing up to the site and the like. But on the whole it will remain as it is.
