Pretty quiet in here lately
Any one up for another swap? Any ideas? I am happy to run it or for someone else to run one.

ill pass on organising tho.. it was getting too stressful towards the end of the year when i had a few bad eggs in the swap (happy to share by red list to the organiser to keep an eye out for these people and question their participation if wanted...)

Ideas for a swaps... handmade kids artsmock? Handmade place mat set, handmade dress ups/ costume for kids, handmade hair accessories, handmade Greeting cards, handmade felt foods , handmade jewellery... thats all I can think of at present..happy to participate in one

I've never been involved in a NA swap before but i'd love to! Rox had some great ideas, especially a felt food swap!

What about a collectors swap? There was a thread a while ago with what people collected. Maybe it would be a good way to add to our collection?

I haven't run a swap before,been in quite a few [all on here] I am Happy to run one.

@ Breezy....Mine are all being good ATM just wish Miss 2 would learn how to use the potty/toilet though.

Maybe we could just make it an open handmade swap, for eg, sewing,softies, crafty,room decorations, hair accessories anything really as long as it is handmade.
Put up a list of what sort of things we would like and for who we would like them for. If you aren't crafty in any way than you must purchase handmade from a WAHM.
Or happy to put up a list of a few things and have a vote?

Basically you join, fill out the questions listed. Then you get given a person. You make/buy them a gift, post & receive.

it would have to be something I can do, I dont like the idea of buying something when its supposed to be handmade. I guess I'll see what the theme is and if its candle, soap, nappy cake based then I will join, if not I will miss out this time

Thats ok i'll miss out on it this time, handmade to me is made from me, not someone else so unless someone is after candles, soaps etc, I wont participate

i think those are super cute, and could do with some cute shape ones

would hate to see you skip out on a swap because you dont think someone would like your items

may need some candles around the house too lol

I would take part. But If it was to be a certain item (ie softies, bag, hat) might be limiting to some people. How about a theme instead? Maybe just a colour or a letter or maybe something simple like a happiness swap where it is just something just to brighten the recevers day?
