Wow it wont be long & it will be that special day for most couples! Not every couple celebrate it but most do:)

Now I am starting to get my thinking cap on for what to buy??? No ideas are flowing though seems there
is nothing coming to mind! Arghhh.

Anyone else working on it as well?

:)

I make heart shaped biscuits I can place in my hubby and kids lunch boxes as a treat! And usually do cupcakes or dessert as another sweet treat for them.

It's the same reciepe that I used for my Christmas cookies :) It isn't an overly ginger tasting gingerbread (my kids love them but usually hate ginger), but you can even leave the ginger out and just use a little mixed spice and vanilla.
Gingerbread Recipe:
125g butter (half a block)
1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
I egg
- cream all these together till light and fluffy, then add
2 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tsp bi-carb soda
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp mixed spice
3 tbs golden syrup
- Mix well and bring together as a dough.
- roll out and cut shapes on baking paper and cook for 10 min at 180 deg.

Icing 1 egg white mixed with pure icing sugar till stiff but spreadable.

Oh thats so lovely FS!

just made the biccies & they are so yum! not sweet or overly ginger at all. Then had an idea to make another batch so that dd & ds can share them with their friends at kindy/school! Sharing the love around! ;)

She is amazing, she has been planning for days and going over meals. We have decided a spaghetti bol, homemade, may be best, (easy too make and the other kids can have some earlier)

We have to eat ours afterwards apparantly.
after she sets the table and the other kids go do stuff LOL
