Yes, we know we're crazy! Well Im crazy - its just too darn exciting! I know its way early - but bub is doing absolutely awesomely. I know its going to be fine. Spin-off from my thread about my Ob appointment today - some wanted to have a look.

So we picked this up and put this together on the weekend.

Blessed to have been given the safari matching set (mobile, sheets, quilt, pillows, window cover, rug and lamp) - comes with nappy stacker, laundry basket, door handles and a blanket that all match too - not pictured. We were given the bassinet too - used for like 3 days by a friend (I'll make a little blanket with that fabric hanging on there). The rocking chair I got from freecycle for free and the monitor too. I like to think its fairly neutral and I can add pink or blue if I need - dont know what bub is.

Or just crazy - farmersgirl? :)

I figure its going to get rather hot - Ive got a pregnant stinking hot SA summer ahead of me and DH is often away so not around to lift heavy stuff (home atm) - so Id be silly not to have a fiddle now. :)

Plus, we've been absolutely blessed with the amount of stuff we've recieved for free from friends. We've basically got all we need. Very lucky.

We got the baby jogger a while ago when it was on super-special from NZ - used it for when we were caring for kids. They are awesome with the one-hand fold and so light. We just bought the capsule attachment for it and have the safe and sound that fits in it too. :)

I'm sure I'll get less crazy and organised with subsequent babies (if they happen in future).

I love seeing (reading) how excited you are pumpkin. Pregnancies and babies are such a blessing and it's such a beautiful and exciting experience.
For me I was just as excited during my second pregnancy and birth as I was with my first.

Go full steam ahead, don't spend your pregnancy worrying about the "what if's", enjoy it and enjoy the fun of setting up and preparing for his or her arrival.

It's definitely gender neutral, and you're right - you can always add some pinks or blues to sway it a little further either way.

So cute! I love jungle theme. I'm going to be doing Circus for DD and DS3's room when it's built. I'm pretty sure I was ready by about 20 weeks with DD lol. With the first two I was on a tighter budget so it took a while to get ready with them. But it is super exciting. Enjoy. Awesome that you go the rocking chair for free. I had that one through my second pregnancy and it saved me from many boring long nights lol .
