Afternoon Ladies,

The long awaited forum upgrade is finally available and will be installed tomorrow.

This will mean the forums will most likely be down most of of the day. If things go well the downtime might be significantly shorter but I might use the time to tweak a few other things whilst I'm at it so expect the forums to be gone most of the day.

Downtime will commence from sometime after 9am (also known as whenever I get back from dropping the ferals off at pre-school) and I'll do my best to have things back up and running before the evening so everyone can enjoy learning the new forum together tomorrow night.

There may be a few hiccups or a little slowness this afternoon or evening as I make some forum and system backups etc in anticipation of the upgrade.

The new version of the forum has lots of nifty new features and looks a lot better in it's "plain form".

If I get a chance tonight I'll try to summarise a few of the new features in a post.

So get all that washing and cleaning prepared tonight ladies. Here's your once a quarter chance!!

lol I know Tess, Im just lucky i have the day care run in the morning , then hopefully bub will have enough Down time of his own so i can get some candles done... thats my plan anyway lol

tomorrow is grocery day but that only takes till lunchtime, I might have to, heaven forbid, do some housework

Just a reminder ladies. The site will be going down in a couple of hours for probably most of the rest of today.

Just have a few errands to run and once I get back I'll post an update and give you all about 15 mins or so notice.

NEW PLAN!!

Apparently there are some issues I might need to look out for so I've postponed the upgrade until I investigate a little further. This should hopefully reduce the downtime.

So site will be up today. Upgrade won't take place until tmw at the earliest.

me too, DH has been away for 3 days and Ive done nothing, Im goign to do it all tomorrow so its nice and tidy when he gets home
