Well Memberships are back.
*edited after change in price structure*
As far as the current Supporters go, their supporter status will remain until 1 May at which point all those who haven't purchased a new Supporter membership will be returned to the Standard Members group.
Just be warned the standard Members group only allows 50 PMs (IIRC it treats each conversation as a PM) so if you aren't going to get a new membership then you'll need to clean out your PM inbox.
Also the current Supporters allocation of 1000 PMs will be reduced slightly in favour of some other features.
As far as business Memberships go. They are coming very soon (before 1 May) and will work in a similar way as a far as running from May-April goes.
We'll also be introducing a feature which will allow Business Owners to operate separate accounts for each of their businesses (if they have more than one) along with a personal account. This will allow those with a business to "separate" their business an personal accounts and posts, comments and actions on the forum. The system will be very simple an WILL NOT involve logging in and out of multiple accounts to use them. I just have some more testing to do and once done that will be rolled out and made available.
I think that's about it aside from saying that Memberships can be purchased in the Store link at the top of the forum.

After consultation with a number of previous and potential site supporters I've made some changes to the pricing structure.
Memberships will no longer be yearly long DD only.
The PayPal option has been reinstated (much to my chagrin, not very happy with PP at the moment) and both monthly, quarterly and yearly subscriptions are available.
The quarterly and yearly subscriptions will reduce the amount of fees payable.
So check out the new Pricing in the Store link at the top of the page and sign up now.

Hi, Im new to this so hope that its not a silly Q - does membership automatically renew ie if I purchased the quarterly one, that amount would be deducted each quarter or is it a once off payment and then your membership ceases? Also once you sign up as a member, would you be able to upload photos directly on your posts? Thanks in advance for answering my Qs.

If it's working properly. It should be a subscriptions that will automagically be taken out. The subscription will be through PayPal and you can always cancel the subscription on your end at any time (but obviously your membership will revert the standard when the time you paid for expires)
If it's NOT working properly then the system should be sending invoiced out about a week before the time expires that are due for payment.
Either way you have the option of paying or not and your emmbership status will be adjusted accordingly.
And yes membership does allow you to upload pics to your posts directly.
