I still use sposies part time overnight and up till now have used huggies but they aren't cutting it any more. They aren't what they used to be, we've had some leaks and a couple of times recently they've burst (eewww).

I don't use them often so don't need to mess around with cheap. Which are good performers?

I don't shop at aldi though.

Thanks :)

I have used pampers sometimes, I only have 2 night nappies and if DS drinks heaps before going to bed I usually have to change him half way through the night, so I pop him in sposies.. I usually use huggies but as a second choice it would be pampers, they seem to hold a lot...

For dd1 (heavy wetter) - huggies or babylove
For dd2 (med wetter) - woolworths home brand
For dd3 (med wetter) - babylove

I love huggies but will not pay full price for them. I actually tried the pampers (from coles) and when I pulled one out of the pack, they are thin and I thought they would just hold one wee if lucky. I was so suprised, they actually held alot, I just wasn't game to try them on dd1 for a whole night.

thing is, that sometimes the cheaper are the better ones ;) we use sposies at night as well and my boy is a pretty big night pee'er but it also has to cope with the morning poo too as 99% of the time, he will do one first thing in the morning upon waking up (yeah such a lovely thing to wake up too LOL)

We have used a lot of brands, I won't bother with Huggies anymore as their quality isn't worth the price. Snuggles are crap. Pampers don't work for Patrick at all. Sorbies aren't too bad, but they were a bit at their limit for his amount of pee. The Woolies homebrand nappies are great, but they irritated him at the tops with the papery part :( Aldi are good but I don't get there anymore as its a PITA to shop there sometimes so have moved on from those nappies. So then we tried the Coles brand ones with the Gumnut Babies on them. They are awesome (LOL well as awesome as a sposie can be ;) ). Patrick had an early bath the other day at 4pm, and was put straight into his night nappy by my Mum. Well he fell asleep early and didn't get another bum change (figured i'd do it later on when he woke up, but he didn't!). He didn't get changed until 7am the next morning when he woke up, so needless to say it was rather full but it didn't leak or explode.

Now that is not something that happens around here that he is in one for that long (he is not a child you wake, even for a bum change, its just not worth the hours of screaming that come from it!) but it did prove to me that even for cheaper price, they were a good nappy.

HTH!

I second the babyloves. We switched from Huggies to them for DS as he got older.

my bestie recently sais she uses snugglers on her little man now, she was an avid huggies user but has said she finds snugglers just as good. We use huggies here at night and only really have a problem with them if i dont change ds right before or right after he first wakes and has his bottle.

We have massive success with the Woolies Homebrand ones. They are awesome, but they have deleted them from their range. :(. I'm hoping they bring in an alternative though.

hehe this is part of the reason i still use 'sposies overnight. Its one thing to clean a pooey bum before my coffee but another thing to then have to clean the nappy too. ;)

Thanks ladies, I'll try the babylove or coles ones then. :)

Another vote for Babylove, we have used them one the first 3 kids, and now if we happen to go away ill get them as well. I hate using sposies but if im going to use them ill get ones i trust. Oh, and they quite often come on a very good special. ;)

LOL in my epic post earlier, I completely forgot about Babylove! They are another one that we will go for as well. Depending on where I am doing the shopping really as Woolies have them at a cheaper everyday price now so that is definitely an incentive.

We use huggies overnight too, I had a similar problem afew months ago. I put dd up to the next size even thought the smaller size still fit and weight wise she was still a couple of kg under the bigger size but it fixed the problem and we haven't had a leak since

I also use huggies overnight on DD. There just isn't a night clothie that works for her. :( But I have to use the boys ones on her as she is a tummy sleeper and a very heavy wetter overnight. I also refuse to pay full price for sposies as well....

Same here, babylove is good and pretty cheap, usually $25 - $27 for a box of 100 (crawler size 6-11kg)

We are snugglers fans here. They last all night with no leaks. Sometimes he does a poo in it just after he wakes and it catches that also.

If huggies are on special i'll buy them. Babylove, i found the rise wasnt high enough to catch DS's poos. Never had so many poo explosions overthe top as i did with baby love.

Havent been game enough to try any woolies/coles cheap brands yet, but i might give them a go when my current box runs out.

Oh, i also bought a box of pull ups for DS (for DP to put on DS as he's a little squirmer now) and they lasted all night no leaks also
