Alex has done a good job injuring herself, and on wednesday her leg will be put into a cast from her foot to just below her knee.
How am i ment to get her around without hurting her?? How long do 'fractures' hurt before starting to heal?
What do i need to do to ensure her cast stays good? She's getting a fibreglass cast (no idea what the differance is? lol)
Will she be able to walk on the cast? Or will it wreck it?
So many questions!!

im not %100 sure , but i would inagin it will take around 6 weeks to heal (thats the normal amount of time , but perhaps different with alex ??)
it will still be painful to walk on for a couple of weeks i imagin
she sill be able to walk on it without "wrecking" the cast , the fiberglass ones are stronger than plaster
id say it will be alot of rides in the pram for a while

ayla the dr wants the swelling to go down completely before he casts it. at the moment shes in the padding they use with casts, as well as a pressure bandage, so its pretty imobilised, and then wednesday after her next xrays he'll put the proper cast on. she wont be moving till then hahaha. she's very very careful of her leg, which is great. she either sits in her chair, or lays on her flip out sofa.

My DD broke her arm when she was 7 falling down the stairs and hitting it at the bottom on the hoover!
she said it wasnt painful in the cast at all
I broke my leg a few years ago and once casted it didnt hurt and i learnt to walk around on it, the cast supports it and stops it moving so i found it didnt hurt, afterwards though, when the cast was taken off, i had difficuly walking as i had been walking a different way for 6 weeks and i also found it very very sore for several weeks after.
