Hey girls
just wondering if anyone has probs with sores/spots

DS got a nasty sore which became badly infected and we had to use sposies for a week as it wouldnt heal.
Since it healed he keeps getting nasty spots in his nappy area with white heads in the morning which look really sore, we bought some sposies over the weekend and tried him last night and they are almost gone this morning???

Any ideas as we have never had an issue with this before with night nappies, he is a huge wetter but always has done and we have managed to find night nappies which work for us, but he is always very damp in the morning and not sure whats going on? I really dont want to turn to sposies at night, any ideas???

He is fine in the day they fade through the day but are vivid and sore in the mornings, so its the overnight i think???

do you use fitteds over-night? IS changing him during the night an option??
DS occasionally get some little sores but i just assume its just cause his been in the nappy too long...

The only way I have found to keep using cloth and not getting sores on bubs' bum over night is to change his nappy at about midnight so he gets about 6 hours in each. Otherwise he flares up bigtime.

Another option might be to use raw silk liners at night. They're great for healing, so I don't see why they would be good for prevention as well :)

As you know I had the same problem. I did a strip wash, and canesteen rinse when I washed them for almost 3 weeks and it's stopped :)

We only use night nappies from 11-12pm until 7 am as they wouldnt last him otherwise..

We're the same here, any more than 7 hours in a nappy and it's going to start leaking (though I have to be honest, the TL Supernights is better than anything I've tried).

Sorry I haven't checked the threads much Nat. The canesteen is an anti fungal. I'd give it a try. Is it still happening?

will try again in a week :(

doesnt happen in the day and he only wears cloth in the day?
