That the iron supplements I have been taking ain't helping at all.

I still feel rather nauseous, faint and just not too well at all.

the only way to know is a blood test.

Call ur GP or midwife and talk to them about it, it could also be other things such as blood sugar levels or De-hydration.

How long have you been taking them? If your levels were really low maybe its taking a while to get your stores up. Try taking them with vitamin C so its absorbed into your body more efficiently.

But I have been told it takes a good couple of weeks to feel a difference.

I had trouble getting my iron levels up during my pregnancy- even on iron tablets. It wasnt until I went onto a liquid iron prep from the chemist that mine increased. I must have had trouble absorbing the tablets or something.

iron can make you feel nausea's and can being preg in general. low blood pressure would make you feel light headed and low iron too. you will just have to take it easy. Are you still taking multivitamins??
