DD has her first ever case of heat rash and its horrible. Ive tried a few different creams, Ive tried having her nappy free when we are at home and shes awake and it just seems to be getting worst.

How did you get rid of heat rash? Does it get worst before it gets better? (It seems whenever I put cream on it it flares up really bad)

Greaaaat... Just read it can be made worst by creams >.< Might try curash powder I think

Is it only in her nappy area???
DS gets heat rash all over during summer and tbh there's nothing that I did to help it. Coolish baths with no soaps etc, I never put creams on it - plenty of nudey time (completely), sometimes after his bath I'd dust him in straight cornflour. Watch what creams/powders you put on it - a lot will make it worse.....straight cornflour is the best!

Sorry, not much help - I don't think there's much you can do for true heat rash???

are you sure its heat reash cause dd had a rash like that once and a normal nappy cream should get rid of the lumpy bits but you will need to get an anti fungal cream like daktozin to get rid of the spotty bits, normal nappy cream wont help those at all

Try a luke warm bath with no soap/bubble bath/creams etc then dust everywhere that it is in straight cornflour - it even clears up DS nappy rash within a few days! It was the best tip I was ever given!!! It could be a heat/rubbing rash (there's another word for it but I can't remember :P ) from where clothes/nappy is rubbing on her - or a reaction to a material/new nappy etc??

I think it first started by me putting her petites on too tight, and then it got worst from there :(

My ds has something similar to this. I thought it was heat rash as well, but it got worse and wouldn't go away. I have been to the doctor's three times and they don't know what it is, although I have a low dose steroid cream and I mix it with a bit of daktozin (sp?). It is kind of working but I also have a skin specialist appointment in 4 weeks for it as well. Is she scratching it? Try putting pintarsal spray on it when she has a bath as well.
