drink a LOT of water - like a litre or more all at once, you'll feel uncomfortable for a little while with a tummy full of water but its good relief. Just be prepared to be up to the loo a bit

Always happens at the worst time doesnt it :(

drink 2litres of water per day (ETA you shouldn't drink more than 3litres of water.. you can actually make yourself sick if you drink too much water, it's a serious thing...)
don't drink cranberry juice like Ocean Spray, which has a high sugar and low actual cranberry juice
stay away from sugary things

Can you go to a chemist? Ural (think thats the spelling) is great too. Supermarkets may sell it too?

Hey Hun,

I wouldn't take the Amoxil just yet - if it get's really bad you will need to have a urine culture done, and they will check what ab's the bug is sensitive too and then prescribe you something that's suitable.

You can get URAL from Woolies, just take that as directed and drink 2-3 litres of water, and if its not improving after that then go to the doc's.
