What can I use to get some moisture back on my nipples.. just realised that one was dry as I was to feed??? What kind if soap should I wash with cause i think the soap i use is also drying?

Also they are very tender esp in the shower when they touch another part of my body is this normal and will it go away once i stop?

help ? :(

Im yet to discover the wonders of breastfeeding... but one bit of information a friend gave me just yesterday is that breastmilk heals almost anything! When she had cracked nipples, she rubbed her breatmilk onto it.

Put in on straight after you finish a feed - then it can absorb in etc between feeds.

you don't need to use any soap, just rinse with water. The pure lanilon creams like lanisoh or marcalan are great, you only eed to use a touch though.

the tenderness / sensitivity can also be related to hormones in which case lanolin / breastmilk won't make any difference. I found that the sensitivity varied depending on where I was in my cycle - also once my cycle resumed to 'normal' at at about 12mths the sensitivity passed.
