Okay we took the boys swimming last monday, and well we didn't even plan on going swimming, as we were only to get a car unbogged.

We were probably there for an hour, wasn't hot at all.

DS2 came out with this on saturday. Just on the 1 shoulder though.

It just worries me that, for 2 weeks beforehand he had a rash right around his neck, that lasted 2 weeks. On friday night on his shoulder there was like the same rash as he had around his neck. Then on saturday this came out.

We were swimming in a lake/dam thingo.

But surely if he was bitten by something the bite mark would of appeared straight away? Not 4/5 days later?

I doubt it was from sunburn... No ideas what it might be from though... Allergy to something perhaps?

It def looks like a reaction rash to something. Is it bothering him, is it sore?

The outpatients has already closed. :(

I have been putting dettol cream, and I also got dermaide.

Hes been starting to scratch it aswell.

As far as we know hes not allergic to anything. Haven't changed anything.

In the bottom picture, it looks as though the skin is peeling around the rash? Is that the case? (It's a bit unclear?) Or is it just cream that you've applied??

If the skin is peeling around the rash, I'd see a doctor, or at the least, a Chemist....

Looks a bit like dermatitis/eczema to me. It could also be a bit of dry skin from being sunburnt, that he has scratched.

Yeah actually on closer inspection of photos (wich specs ON this time)

Kinda does look a bit eczemaish?

I used to get horrible heat rash all around my neck when I was a kid... I know you said it wasn't hot, but maybe just the sun caused a heat rash?

The rash he had around his neck was there for 2 weeks.

As the outpatients was closed, closest DR is an hour away. So I went into the chemist and asked the lady there. She didn't want to give me anything to put on it, but she said it looks like a type of fungal infection.

So will be taking him into the outpatients tomorrow morning.
