Are you just wondering about the testing process or diabetes in general?
I'm a pathology collector (my other job ;)), so I can tell you about the tests but I personally don't have any experience with diabetes. I do know that doctors screen for it very regularly, especially if you have vague symptoms. We get loads of people not even knowing why they are having the tests done and often say things like "I only went for a checkup!". I think there will be lots more screening for diabetes (or rather will become mandatory at a certain age) seeing the incidence is on the rise.
Goodluck with it, hopefully the doctor was just being thorough and ordered it to rule it out. HTH somewhat:confused::)

My mum wants me to go for it, thats about all I know.
If a person wanted to come here and stick me, thats fine, elsewise, I ain't going to have time for a while, otherwise I would see about the giant lump on the back of my head thats been there for months and kills lol.
Good luck and am hoping everything is okay for you hun and big hugs xxxxx :(

I had gestational diabetes, and was on insulin injections 3 x a day...
I don't know if I can help - but willing to answer questions that I can!
