Ok one of the main reason i personally dont vax and at the moment am not considering it is because of the info found here (and other sites also)
http://www.hpakids.o...y-of-Breastmilk
I have read this so many times and yet i am amazed at how amazing our bodies are!! I also found this...another WOW factor for me...a scientific reason we kiss our babies
http://allergies.sui...s_immune_system
I feel so long as im breastfeeding that my baby will be just as protected as if he was vaccinated.
Just wanted to share

it just amazes me that even if we dont have the immunity to whatever it is, our bodies make one to give to them...our very own chemist hee hee...

oh also a side benefit is how much $$ we save by not buying formulas and medicine.
with DS1 he was on full formula @8 months as i went back to work FT, that was about $15 per week.

i was told when alex was a bubba not to kiss her on the mouth or near it cause her donor heart patch could get bacteria and therefore infected. how sad is that :( sorry, not realy relevant!

When Mateauz was in SCN up here in SHepparton I fought the midwives in there to not tube feed him. I walked in and saw one down his nose and demanded they get it out. I had a midwife tell me he needed it to feed him..what the fuck, I screamed at her asking if my 2 hourly breast feed's werent enough. There was a Paed on ward who heard me and told the midwife to get it out as they hadnt told him I was BF him that much.

When we went to the royal childrens 2 weeks later (4 week stay) after his strokes I feed and expressed hourly through the day and 3 hourly through the night..not once did they question putting a tube down his nose. We were told that due to the multiple strokes he had and the size of the blood clot in his main artery to his brain not to expect him to have much of a quality of life at all. I was told he would be lucky to live to 3 months, let alone walk, talk, eat independantly. I continued to breast feed, I wacked an amber necklace on his neck straight away as we were told he would have constant headaches due to the clots and I feed him honey to help thin and clean his blood.
At his 6 month check up with the pead he was astonded that Mateauz was sitting by himself and crawling.
Our family pead up here can not believe the scan results. At 4 weeks of age Mateauz had dead brain areas on his lower left side, result in blood clots bursting. At 13 months of age those dead area's were gone. My Pead strongly believes that it was due to me continuously BFing him and passing on my high immunity to him...and the stem cell's that are passed on via breast milk.

today to look at Mateauz, he is a normal little 2 yo. He walks, run's, climb's, drives me batty ROFL. He doesnt talk to well at the moment but he is 100% more then what we expected.

FWIW...Mateauz was the only one of out my 4 children to be breastfeed...funny isnt it.
