Upon it's completion here you will find the The Rehab Group Code of Conduct, a set of guidelines and principles that we ask all the members of our various forums to agree to before taking part in the forums.

This Code of Conduct will outline expected behaviours of both the members of the forum and the forum managers/owners and will detail any sanctions applicable should those guidelines be breached.

The Code will be simple, clear and not mired in technicalities. It's not intended to be a set of rules with loopholes for people to exploit. It's intended to be a set of principles as to how the forums will be managed and operated and how the members of those forums will publicly engage and relate to their fellow forum members.

The first Rehab Group forums were founded as a place for people to speak their mind without fear of draconian and byzantine rules and regulations and biased, and all too human, moderators controlling and regulating every word out of their mouths. This is a principle we still hold dear but in return for the freedom to say what we like there needs to be some agreed to guidelines, boundaries that people agree not to cross. These are the areas and actions that turn meaningful and hearty and even dissenting discussion into free-for-all flamefests that serve no purpose at all.

Unlike many similar forums these boundaries will be broad and wide ranging allowing people to say what they think regardless of whether or not it conforms to the mainstream view. However these guidelines and boundaries will conform to a number of social norms primarily the ones relating to treating other people as you yourself would wish to be treated. Or for those with an unhealthy sense of self-loathing, as you'd like the person you care about most in the world to be treated.

This Code will be produced in consultation with the various communities of Jovis Group forums and will from time to time be updated and or changed as needs and circumstances dictate.

So please check back regularly and do your best to abide by the Code and if at any time you have any questions or concerns regarding the Code please feel free to get in touch with the forums administrators.

Thank you.
